Nutrition with Holistic Health Consultant Meka Taulbee
In an attempt to become overall more healthy, Cora participated in a customized Nutrition program with Holistic Health Consultant Meka Taulbee. Cora kept track of what she was eating for a week to see where she was and how she could do better.

Disney World
We went to EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom
Cora's favorite park is EPCOT. We learned about all the countries in Epcot's World Showcase: American, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Marrakesh, Norway, and United Kingdom. We spent many hours visiting Cora's favorite the Japan pavilion.
We learned about animals at Animal Kingdom and a little about Africa.

Kohl’s Cooks for Kids
Cora and her mom Jodi participated in Kohl’s Family Nutrition & Cooking Classes at Anona United Methodist Church. According to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital their Kohl's Cooks for Kids classes are designed to:
We would discuss different topics then cook using the provided recipes in small groups. Although Cora has discussed her fear of the stove she was able to cook in this class and did quite well. We created asian lettuce wraps and chicken quesadillas.
- Teach interesting facts about the foods we eat;
- Teach the skills needed to create delicious, quick meals; and
- Provide the information necessary to make healthy food choices.
